Owl Painting

Couldn't sleep last night so I painted an owl for one of my friends. I got the framed canvas wall art thing for a dollar at a local thrift store, its about 3'x3'. The owl and snowy branches are done in acrylic.

I watched the 1949 film last night. It's even creepier than the short story though I truly love how it's filmed, and that the little boy went on to direct Monty Python :)    Some day,  I would like to make an animated short of this story....where the horse looks like this....

Peachy Princess

I've been very busy lately working on a very cool project for a girl named Amy. Amy has Downsyndrome and is a remarkable painter. She loves to paint pictures of princesses, and when her family told me they wanted to make a book of original princesses for her to paint, I was MORE than happy to oblige. The book will be in production later this spring.
(I couldn't help painting one of the rough sketches.) More to follow soon.
